Application and Info: HB 2284
Starting September 1, 2011, qualified professional engineers are welcome to apply for inclusion on the list of engineers permitted to practice architecture pursuant to HB 2284.
TBAE has prepared a helpful instruction sheet and checklist to help you get organized to apply. Once you've looked over the instructions and checklist, you may enter your information into the application form (form-fillable).
Before you begin, please take additional note of a few reminders and helpful pieces of information:
- Adobe Reader version 8 or greater is required to properly view and fill out the application form. Download for free from Adobe.
- The application window starts September 1, 2011 and ends January 1, 2012.
- TBAE and the Texas Board of Professional Engineers (TBPE) have jointly issued a helpful Frequently Asked Questions document (updated September 19).
