In compliance with the Federal Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, the Board must verify proof of legal
status in the United States. An applicant for registration must provide evidence of legal status by submitting a copy of a US birth certificate
or a document from list A.
The mission of the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners (TBAE) is to serve the State of Texas by protecting
and preserving the health, safety, and welfare of the Texans who live, work, and play in the built environment through the regulation
of the practice of architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design.
