Reporting CEPH to TBAE
Each registrant certifies his/her compliance with the continuing education requirements by signing the registration renewal each period or answering the online questions. The registration period runs from your expiration date from one year to the next. Your registration will not be renewed until all continuing education requirements are met. Please do not sign or submit your registration renewal form and fees until you have completed all of your continuing education requirements. Remember that falsely reporting your continuing education could result in a considerable fine.
A registrant is exempt from the continuing education requirements for his/her initial registration period, which may not exceed one year. When renewing your registration you may simply write “Initial registration period – CEPH Exempt” on the registration renewal form, sign and mail with all required renewal fees.
Make sure that you maintain your CEPH Log with the appropriate supporting documentation. You will need to keep these records for audit purposes. Do not submit your CEPH log with your renewal payment.
There are no extensions for completion of the required Continuing Education Program Hours. You may turn your registration renewal in late and pay all applicable late fees, or you may request to go inactive by completing the Request for Inactive Status form and submitting all applicable fees. However, please remember you will no longer hold an active registration in Texas once your registration expires. Your registration will not be renewed until a completed renewal with all required fees is received and all continuing education requirements are satisfied.
